StrawHat Paving is family owned and operated. Our owner is a third-generation asphalt paver with 25 years of experience. Paving runs in the family, and so does doing it right.
On every job, the owner's experience goes into the details that make pavement last: a solid base, good drainage, and clean edges. When the straw hats go on, the job gets done.

Milled Asphalt
We mill up old asphalt and lay recycled millings for a firm, budget-friendly surface.
Tar N Chip
Hot liquid tar topped with stone and rolled in. A rugged, good-looking surface with real grip.
Seal Coating
Protects your asphalt from sun, water, and oil and brings back that deep black finish.
Repair
Potholes, cracks, and failed sections patched and paved so they stay fixed.

We mill up old asphalt, then lay and compact the recycled millings. It makes a firm surface that costs less than new hot asphalt.
How long does tar n chip last?
It depends on the base, drainage, traffic, and weather. We'll walk you through what to expect for your site.
When should new asphalt be seal coated?
Usually after it has cured for several months, then every few years depending on traffic and sun.
Do you stripe parking lots?
Yes, on parking lots we pave.
